I knew something along this line was coming; Iraq wants the UN Security Council to ensure that the soldiers that raped and killed an Iraqi girl and her family receive punishment for their crime:

MSNBC—Iraq’s justice minister demanded Tuesday that the U.N. Security Council ensure a group of U.S. troops is punished for allegedly raping and murdering a young Iraqi woman and executing her family, calling the attack “monstrous and inhuman.” …

The victims are said to be:

Abeer Qasim Hamza,15, raped and shot in the head, body also showed burns;
Fakhriyah Taha Muhsin, 34, killed by gunshots to her head;
Qasim Hamza Raheem, 45, whose head was “smashed” by bullets;
Hadeel Qasim Hamza, 7, Abeer’s sister, shot.

Back on June 30th, I offered my heartfelt condolences to the family and I do so again today. I am so sorry for what happened to them. God help them and may the persons that allegedly committed that horrible crime be punished to the full extent the law allows.
