The Melamine Scandal: Are Your Favorite Foods 100 Percent American?
Looking beyond the Melamine Scandal, I believe we must begin asking some serious questions; one being “Is what I’m eating 100 percent American?”
I don’t mean to alienate countries that are exporting quality food to America, but looking beyond the Melamine Scandal, Americans must demand our food come from quality sources. And that initially means 100 percent American sources.
By no means is America the only country affected, every country importing food faces our dilemma. And I encourage you to demand safe, quality foods for your own families.
One product my family has enjoyed is Wonder Kids bread. So I checked with Interstate Bakeries. I was very pleased to hear that Wonder Kids is 100 percent American. So it’s first on the list.
As time goes on, I want to add more products to the list and I hope you’ll help by letting me know about 100 percent American food products.
