Pastor Jailed For Bringing Bullets Into Russia
Pastor Phillip Miles of Christ Community Church in Conway, SC has been sentenced to three years in prison for bringing bullets into Russia for a friend.
The pastor’s friend had recently purchased a Winchester rifle.
Folks, I feel sorry for the pastor but I would never carry ammunition for a friend into Russia or any other foreign country. It’s just downright crazy.
I sincerely hope the Russian legal system will take into consideration the fact that the cheese on Pastor Miles cracker may have briefly slid off. If not, I do hope that President Putin will pardon the pastor and allow the poor man to return home.
Pastor Miles shouldn’t become a victim of sour US/Russia relations. I do believe President Putin is above that and will eventually allow him to return home.
