This evening, I want to offer up a prayer of thanksgiving to God and a special prayer of help for the people of China and Myanmar.
In the name of Jesus, the Lord Christ, our Savior, thank you for America. This land has flowed with milk and honey for so long and seen your wondrous hand of protection on us. Thank you for your incredible blessings upon us; thank you for your undeserved grace upon us.
Father, forgive us for being unthankful; forgive us for taking it for granted, not realizing that we could lose it all in one day or one hour. Forgive us and grant us a spirit of continual thanksgiving. Thank you Father.
Father, remember the suffering people of Sichuan province in China. Remember the people that call America Mei Guo or Beautiful Country. May your grace and mercy, and your blessings pour out upon them.
Father, remember the suffering people in Myanmar, may your grace and mercy, and your blessings pour out upon them as well.
Father, I remember the words of Jesus, how that He said you are kind to the unthankful and the wicked. I thank you Father for caring for us all, for keeping us in the palms of your beloved hands.
Thank you Father for your precious Son, Jesus Christ, that gave His life, that we might have life and have it more fully. Thank you for his sacrificial death; thank you for His resurrection that gave us that believe, forgiveness of sin and eternal life with and through Him who is God blessed forever.
