eHarmony Decision: Is The Church As We Know It Finished?
Is the Church as we know it, finished?
I speculated many years ago that, eventually, true believers would have to meet in cell churches to worship God. I can’t help but believe that eHarmony’s capitulation pushes believers one step closer to that day.
Michelle Malkin writes, “…capitulation will only yield a worse, entirely predictable outcome: More shakedowns of private businesses who hold views deemed unacceptable by the Equality-At-All-Costs Brigade.”
Don’t be so upset with eHarmony though. It is a business after all; a business in the business of making money. It’s simply doing what business does. The Church is a different matter altogether.
Does anyone believe that American churches, faced with eHarmony’s choice, would close their doors rather than capitulate? Very soon, the True Church may find itself hated, persecuted, and forced underground. But hey, doesn’t that sound a lot like how the Church began? Interesting.
Perhaps what will happen is a severing of ties; the True Church severing itself from the Church which desires the honor and glory of men rather than that of the eternal God and his beloved Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Maybe this is the beginning; the beginning of the great schism.
Even so, come Lord Jesus.
