Dr. Rusty Shackleford at the Jawa Report released part III today of his interviews with Roy Hallums family. Rusty spoke with Carrie Hallums about her father and government policies regarding hostages:
The Jawa Report—I understand that if we (the U.S.) pay ransom for hostages this will only increase more hostage-taking, which is why the United States adheres to this policy. So, from that frame of mind, the Philippines policy of negotiating with hostage-takers may be encouraging more kidnappings, which for the Philippines as a whole is not beneficial. …

Dr. Rusty Shackleford is brilliant and he has my thanks for remembering hostages when most forget or have more important topics. As always I am very proud of my daughter that is trying so hard to help her Dad . She loves him so much and is so frustrated , Carrie I love you and God bless you and your huge efforts!
