Extra Sour Sourdough Bread—Second Batch

Today I have started my second batch of extra sour sourdough bread using a recipe at King Arthur Flour.

My first attempt was, well, a miserable failure. I chatted with King Arthur about it, identifying some problem areas. It was a learning experience for me and I really enjoyed doing it. I have high confidence in the second batch! :)

I’ll let you know how it turns out.

Well it turned out ok this time. I could still do a job though.

It kind of looked like a boule, had a terrific crust, but needed a little more sourness. We were happy with it :)
