Realities of a True Christian—Book Review

By Tim | August 4, 2012 | Tags: Faith |

I’ve been reading an ebook written by Jeremy Strang titled Realities of a True Christian.

It’s a powerful book and Strang doesn’t pull his punches. The business of our souls is serious business and that becomes quite clear as you read. I also couldn’t help but sense A.W. Tozer in the book. Strang has a deep love and devotion to God, a strong relationship and fellowship, and that clearly is what he wants each of us to seek.

In Chapter 8, Strang addresses prayer. Wow. After that chapter, I had to sit down with my child. I asked her, “What is prayer?” And we went from there. What a wonderful time of sharing we had. Thanks Jeremy. We needed that.

Realities of a True Christian is a book everyone should read. And I believe the author would say put what you learn into action!

    Brother,

Thank you for your kind and humbling words. I praise God and Him alone for anything that you received from these feble and inadequet words. I was greatly humbled and brought to tears once by a Paul Washer when he said to me one on one, “God uses rocks and donkeys to speak.” He then put his head down and walked off. This had a huge impact on me and I think about it often. This is so very true and I am absolutely nothing without the mercy, grace and love of Christ!

    Peace and blessings brother,

    Jeremy
