Bush To Nominate Samuel Alito To Associate Justice

AP is reporting that President Bush will nominate Samuel Alito to Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court:

SignOnSanDiego— WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush will nominate Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court, The Associated Press has learned, choosing a long-time federal judge embraced by judicial conservatives to replace retiring Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.
