Star Trek: Enterprise “Sleeping Dogs” Surprise

I was just watching Star Trek: Enterprise episode 14 “Sleeping Dogs.”
At about the 19m40s mark, Malcolm (Dominic Keating) is talking with T’Pol (Jolene Blalock) and Hoshi (Linda Park) about the propulsion system on the Klingon Raptor Somraw. When he says they’re dead in the water, you’ll notice a curious thing—His voice becomes that of [...]

Airbus A330 Excellent Plane Despite Air Speed Sensor Problems

During our recent trip to Finland we had the pleasure of flying aboard an Airbus A330.
The Airbus A330 was like a luxury liner, spacious, with plenty of lavatories, and top-rated entertainment at your seat.
I must admit, I’ve been spoiled. Each seatback had an interactive monitor with lots of movies, games, shows, and maps to [...]

Awesome Johnsonville Bold Jalapeño & Cheese Smoked Sausage

I just finished some Johnsonville Bold Jalapeño & Cheese Smoked Sausages that I cooked for lunch. Man, they were awesome.
Johnsonville Bold Jalapeño & Cheese Smoked Sausages are the best sausages I’ve tasted in a long time. They do indeed have bold Jalapeño heat (just right, not scorching), flavorful cheese and quality meat.
Two [...]

Hollyweird Ruined Land Of The Lost

From Michelle Malkin:
Over at Big Hollywood, Mark Corallo explains how and why his 11-year-old son gave the best advice possible to parents who may be considering taking their kids to see the movie version of Land of the Lost, starring Will Ferrell: Walk out. Don’t go. It’s gratuitously sexualized crap.
I remember watching Land of the [...]

My first attempt was, well, a miserable failure. I chatted with King Arthur about it, identifying some problem areas. It was a learning experience for me and I really enjoyed doing it. I have [...]

Tasty Five Grains Rice Recipe

Not having anything better to do this morning, I decided to stir up some fried rice using some leftover sausage I had. It came out pretty good. Here it is:
Dice two slices of cooked Neese’s Hot Country sausage
Empty 1 7oz pouch of Five Grains Meal into a microwavable bowl
Add a few splashes of [...]

McSkillet Burrito with Sausage

I have finally tried McDonald’s McSkillet.
First opinion: A high-calorie flop in a tortilla; second opinion: yuck. McDonald’s standard sausage burrito is much more satisfying.
Hey Mikey D, about the only innovation your breakfast burrito needs is some bacon bits with some hot picante sauce on the side. That would be absolutely delicious.
Sideline the McSkillet [...]
