The U.S. Navy has fired on a vessel in waters off the United Arab Emirates. Despite warnings and non-lethal responses to the vessel, it continued its rapid approach. The USNS Rappahannock fired .50 caliber rounds at the vessel. The BBC is reporting one killed on the vessel. Source: USN

Hosni Mubarak is gone and the Egyptian military is in charge. Reuters reports that Mubarak slammed the United States in a call to former Israeli cabinet minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer.
