Lt. Assaf Ramon—son of Israeli Astronaut Ilan Ramon—was killed Sunday when his F-16 crashed in Hebron. Astronaut Ilan Ramon was killed in 2003 when Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated while re-entering Earth’s atmosphere. Heartfelt condolences go out to Assaf’s family and friends. Rest in peace.

Iran expects an apology from Hollywood over its depiction of Iranians as “decadent, sexually flamboyant and evil.” The depiction of Iranians in the movies “300″ and “The Wrestler” angered the country.
