Strong Earthquake Hits Queen Charlotte Islands

A strong earthquake hit Canada’s Queen Charlotte Islands early this morning. A 6.5 magnitude earthquake occurred at 3:01am local time. The earthquake was followed by 6.5 and 5.0 magnitude temblors. The earthquakes were situated along the Queen Charlotte Fault with the first 6.5 magnitude earthquake’s epicenter set at 51.299°N, 130.713°W.
