Indian Rape Victim “Damini” Dies

CNN reports that “Damini”, the Indian rape victim, has died.

The prophet Jeremiah said the heart of man is desperately wicked. Heinous crimes like this serve to remind us of the wickedness inherent in our hearts.

Damini’s death should not be in vain. Good, decent people of India need to rise up and work with national leaders to see that no more young girls like Damini have to suffer and die.

Rest in peace Damini. We offer our heart-felt condolences to her family and friends, and to the people of India.

Update 12/30/2012 Damini’s body was flown to Delhi today. Her body stayed with her mother for a couple of hours before it was taken away from her grief stricken mother for cremation India Times says.

The story brings tears to your eyes doesn’t it?

The Boeing 777 was apparently flying through turbulent air when it hit an air pocket that resulted in a 200 ft. plunge for the aircraft. The Times of India reports that 20 passengers and crew were injured during the incident.

The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) termed the incident “serious” and stated that it is “coordinating with Emirates Airline and Indian Civil Aviation Authority” to investigate the cause of the incident.

Navy Decommissions USS Kitty Hawk

The Navy has decommissioned USS Kitty Hawk.

“Kitty Hawk had been the Navy’s oldest active warship since 1998 and turns over the title to the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65). Kitty Hawk was also the Navy’s last remaining diesel-fueled aircraft carrier. Throughout its lifetime, Kitty Hawk has had 407,507 arrested carrier landings and 448,235 catapult launches,” Navy Times wrote.

Is India still interested in the Kitty Hawk? I haven’t read anything about it lately, but I’ll look into it.

Give India The GE LM 2500 Engines

Talk about wacky decisions, the U.S. Department of State has denied India’s request for GE LM2500 gas turbine marine engines, ordering GE to stop work.

India chose the superb GE engine to power its new Shivalik-class frigates.

GE describes the LM2500 as a “simple-cycle, high-performance engine. Derived from GE’ CF6-6 aircraft engines, the LM2500 consists of a gas generator, a power turbine, attached fuel and lube oil pumps, a fuel control and speed governing system, associated inlet and exhaust sections, and lube and scavenge systems, as well as Controls and devices for starting and monitoring engine operation…The LM2500 delivers high thermal efficiency and low fuel and airflow per horsepower produced.”

State’s decision makes no sense. GE should be allowed to supply India with the needed engines. India is a friend of the US and should be treated as such.

Give India the engines.

Indian Muslims: We Don’t Want Terrorists In Our Cemeteries

Our cemeteries have no room for the terrorists of Mumbai. That is where Indian Muslims stand and their feelings are loud and clear.

NDTV quotes Hamid Abdul Razzak—president, Dawat-e-islami—as saying: “The killing of innocents is against Islam. They are bringing shame to 25 crore Muslims of India. These men are not Muslims. Why should we give them place anywhere? There is no place for them in our hearts and in our cemeteries.”

Thank you Sir.

Mumbai Massacre—It’s The Jews Fault!

JIDF reports on some anti-semitic groups —including some on Facebook—that are blaming Jews for the Mumbai massacre.

Just the other day I read that Deepak Chopra and Iran were blaming America. The terrorists went to Mumbai, killed innocent men, women, and children and the best people can do is blame Jews and blame America; incredible.

JIDF reports they’re now blaming Hindus as well. Rediff reports that the terrorists tortured the hostages.

India, our hearts and prayers go out to you.

Photo Editor: Mumbai Policemen Hid

Shocking and shameful report from Sebastian D’Souza, photo editor at the Mumbai Mirror.

D’Souza says armed policemen hid while the terrorists carried on their killing spree.

Well, shame on that bunch but I’m positive there are plenty of heroes in Mumbai today; some of them are no doubt dead, having shown their courage and honor with their own blood.
