Kidnappers Claim British Hostage Jason Committed Suicide

The Islamic Shiite Resistance in Iraq claim British hostage “Jason” has committed Suicide. Sky News reports that in a video statement, the group says that “one of the five British hostages seized in Baghdad last year has killed himself.” The group’s claim has not been confirmed.

Staff Sgt. Matt Maupin Laid To Rest In Ohio

Long missing soldier Staff Sgt. Matt Maupin has been laid to rest in Ohio. Rest in peace Matt. Memorials are being held for him today so he hasn’t been laid to rest yet. Interment will take place at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in a private ceremony. Read The Full Story At AP.
